Something New


I've been a member of Goodlife for quite a while now. I have been meaning to check out the Body Flow class and finally got around to it tonight. This Les Mills class combines Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates. For some reason I thought this would be very relaxing but it was quite the workout! It's all about control and movement. I really pushed myself with all of the poses and movements. I felt very stretched and sweaty.
I felt pretty good during the entire class but I could tell that I was going to be quite sore the next day.

At the end of the class, there is an 8 minute relaxation period. They turn the lights down and you just lay on your mat. I bring my own yoga mat but I still find that lying on such a hard surface really kills my back when it comes time to get up. That makes me feel old saying that! haha :)

Anyway, I'm going to have some more water and head to bed. I plan to make this a weekly class!
